POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Perform product analysis for agricultural pesticides, including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and synthetic fertilizers.
- Conduct scientific product needs assessments and market evaluations.
- Undertake quality control procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Promote, market, negotiate, and recommend new agrochemical products to expand market opportunities.
- Support sales and business development activities to achieve company sales targets.
- Participate in new product development and product improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on crop protection products and their proper usage.
Experience & Requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Protection, Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Plant Protection, Crop Science, or any other related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the agrochemical or agricultural industry.
- Strong knowledge of crop protection products, pesticides, fertilizers, and agricultural regulations.
- Experience in agrochemical sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Computer literacy and ability to prepare technical and sales reports.
